First, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the new Indiana University Cycling Club executive board:
President | Christopher West
Vice President | Paul Smith
Treasurer | Ashton Wischmeier
Secretary | Brad Koszuta
Graduate Advisor | Ren-Jay Shei

This core group is going to work extremely hard throughout the year to ensure that IUCC and it's members have the resources it needs to reach it's full potential and have a successful 2011-2012 season.
As you can see, changes are already underway within the clubs infrastructure. With this new website/blog we hope to create a more positive and open channel of communication between the the club, it's members, and the Indiana University community. We have also created a new e-mail address (firstname.lastname@example.org). We have also created a Twitter account that will keep you updated on all the happenings of IUCC! Please follow us at @IndianaCycling. Your executive board has many plans in store for the upcoming year that will help bring Indiana University Cycling back to level of competition it was accustomed to in previous years! Please take a look at the schedule as the Moutain Bike season is already underway and Cyclocross is quickly approaching. If you are interested in competing for the Hoosiers, please contact us immediately!

The top 15 finishers from each heat would move onto the 30k, 90-lap Points Race final later that evening. Senior, Christopher West lead the charge for the Hoosiers by qualifying for the 30k Points Race finale.
