1 - 1 day rentals must be returned the next day during normal business hours. Valid driver's license, credit card and signed waiver required with all rentals. Helmets are included with bicycle rental. Please call for availability.
2- Rentals are full suspension mountain bike. Helmets can also be rented for $3 and vehicle bike racks for $10.
3- Helmet and repair kit included. Vehicle bike racks can be rented for $10/day.

Attire:
What you decide to wear is personal preference but a typical mountain bike attire might consist of a loose fitting athletic shirt or a biking jersey, short or long sleeve. Long sleeves can help protect against scrapes from potential overhanging branches. Padded biking shorts or bibs, either loose fitting or tight fitting, can be worn to provide more comfort. Gloves are common among mountain bikers to protect fingers from scrapes or cuts from branches or crashes. Full fingered gloves are most common due to increased protection but any type of gloves will work. Cycling shoes with clips or athletic shoes, depending on preference, are acceptable. Be sure to make sure you have compatible pedals depending on what style of shoe you choose to wear. Finally, always wear a helmet when riding. An example outfit can be found below:

What is Cyclocross? Developed in Europe in the 1900’s, cyclocross was a way for road cyclist to stay fit in the fall and winter. The transition from smooth pavement to off-road surfaces provided more difficult training conditions, improving  fitness  and bike handling  skills . The sport became very popular in Belgium, France and the Netherlands and has recently seen a major growth in the United States.    The cyclocross season typically runs from September to January and feature s  many laps of a short, circuit course ranging anywhere from one to three kilometers. All, We've heard our flier has a coordinate mistake! To get to the Road Race please use the following coordinates: 39.326648, -86.471945 . Also be advised that the exit of 37 (Future I69) onto Old 37 Rd. is barricaded. Please be prepared to take an alternate route. The easiest way to exit 37 on Chambers Pike Rd. and then go northbound on Old SR 37 all the way to the Morgan Monroe Forest or exit on North Fox Hollow Rd. and do the same. For simplicity purposes, if you are already staying the night in Bloomington it is easiest to get to the Forest by taking Old SR 37 from the get go all the way from Bloomington. If you are coming from North of Bloomington, you can also exit 37 (Future I69) on Liberty Church Rd. and take Hackers Creek Rd. all the way to Morgan Monroe Forest.
